2019 HONDA CRF450R

The Honda CRF450R was all new in 2017 and tweaked a little for the 2018 model year with a new frame, engine, suspension, and bodywork. It was highly praised by many test riders but finished second in most 2017 and 2018 shootouts due to the soft settings in the 49mm Showa coil-spring fork and shock and occasional difficulty starting when it got hot. The 2019 has had some dramatic tweaks that have resulted in a huge horsepower and torque gain. To complement the engine changes, the red team has upgraded the front brake caliper for more stopping power, manipulated the frame for more straight-line stability, completely changed the swingarm while making it lighter and threw on a lighter set of footpegs among many other changes.
